Authorities in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, are seeking two suspects believed to have installed a skimming device on an ATM. The device was discovered on November 24th at the PA Central Federal Credit Union on Jonestown Road. Surveillance footage obtained by the police shows two individuals who are suspected of being involved in the crime.
The Lower Paxton Township Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Officer Suwanrut at rsuwanrut@lowerpaxton-pa.gov. In addition, residents are advised to check their financial accounts for any suspicious activity and report it to the Lower Paxton Township Police at (717) 657-5656.
According to WGAL, the suspects were captured on surveillance video, which is aiding in the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, FOX43 reports that the officers were dispatched to the credit union following reports of suspicious activity. The ATM skimming device was discovered outside the building.
